Montblanc is present all around the world with more than 20 subsidiaries and 530 boutiques.

For our headquarters in Hamburg – starting at the earliest possible date – we are looking for a 

Manager Business Development (m/f) Chinese Travellers.

Key responsibilities:

The mission is covering different elds such as management/coaching, networking/business cooperation, sales operations, marketing activities/tools, training and media – and this must be done in close cooperation with local markets.

Define global Chinese travellers strategy and yearly targets including dedicated marketing initiative in cooperation with local markets

Establish monthly Chinese Business reports on divers fields

Management:

Coach the 9 Chinese Business Executives from various markets with jour-fix, market visit and annual meetings

Manage an intern, train and lead him/her for divers Projects

Networking/Business cooperation:

Be the brand ambassador and main contact for Chinese travellers, VIPs and all business partners

Propose and set-up partnerships/cooperation directly in China

Create new initiatives and ensure pro-active and regular contacts with tour guides/operators

Marketing activities/tools:

Ensure ideal POS operations and markets compliance

Establish manufacture visit for Chinese clients or Tour Guides/Tour Operators

Cooperate and support Richemont to maintain constant monitoring of market trends

Develop and implement specific tools to improve Chinese sales potential and customer satisfaction including after-sales service

Training:

Work with Academy to further structure manufacture visit and Training to local markets who serve Chinese clients in Boutique and Wholesale

Your profile:

University bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent

At least 3 years retail experience, ideally in international travellers sales development projects targeting Chinese clients

Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Natural talent for networking, excellent communication and organizational skills, capacity for multi-tasks

Dynamic, proactive and team player

Strong managerial and entrepreneurial skills

Analytical and operational skills, creative in finding new Business opportunities
