On the cutting edge of advanced logistics thinking, the DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation unit develops innovative, supply chain solutions such as DHL Resilience360 (resilience360.com). Global supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and geographically spread. Natural disasters, adverse weather, political unrest, cargo theft – all of these events can cause disruption in the supply chain. DHL Resilience360 is an innovative, cloud-based platform that helps companies to visualize, track and protect their business operations. The solution facilitates intuitive supply chain visualization, tracks shipments and predicts their estimated times of delivery for different transport modes, and enables near real-time monitoring of incidents capable of disrupting supply chains. It enables companies to ensure business continuity, build risk profiles based on over 30 risk databases, and identify critical hotspots to mitigate risks and to turn potential disruptions into competitive advantages.

 

Your tasks

Driving customer implementation, you will be responsible for understanding customers’ needs, network mapping, risk configuration and for administrating the DHL Resilience360 back-end set-up. Your specific tasks will include managing customer relationship from a data management and configuration perspective, and communicating customers’ requirements to the development team. You will also conduct risk analyses tailored to existing customers’ requirements while helping to develop new proposals with teaser characters. Other duties will extend to supporting system integration work, connecting R360 to other business systems, maintaining risk data in the back-end system, and updating the platform’s help section.

 

Your profile

Understanding of data analysis, Excel skills; knowledge of VBA and data mining software would be beneficial

Programming skills and experience with force.com and XML/Jason/EDI interfaces would be advantageous

Proficiency in written and spoken English; a basic understanding of German; another language, especially Chinese or Spanish would be an advantage

Knowledge of project management and customer service; demonstrated ability to solve problems

Understanding of cultural related differences and behavior, essential for working in an international environment
